Adrienne Pasek
Adrienne is the Executive Director of Inland Valleys Justice Center, a non-profit
community dispute resolution center providing mediation services for many
types of disputes, including neighbor-to-neighbor, landlord/tenant, employment
issues, personal injury/damages, real estate matters, collections, and
consumer/merchant disputes. Adrienne has taught numerous classes and given
many seminars coaching others on mediation techniques and processes.
In addition to her extensive training in Mediation, Adrienne also has doctorate
in Clinical Psychology and all the coursework for a PhD in research. Her
dissertation focused on the psychological aspects of divorcing couples unable
to sustain their mediation agreements due to ongoing conflicts. Adriennes
extensive experiences in psychology as well as her comfort with the legal
aspects of mediation have made her a very effective and successful mediator.
A transplant from northern California, Adrienne spent two years in France
before settling in the Los Angeles area in 2005. Her past experiences include
working as a liaison and consultant between families and school districts.
Her work in this field and her vast experience in psychology eventually led
to her becoming a mediator.
During her tenure at Inland Valleys Justice Center, Adrienne has continued
to expand services including writing and receiving a grant to develop a
restorative mediation service for young offenders, their families. She also
developed the Post-Mediation Conference (PMC) program. PMCs were developed
after seeing a need for more long-term mediation services for divorcing couples
and their families.
