A. No, not directly. Parties sometimes need legal advice and even representation. IVJC cannot provide this service directly, but we can provide you some referrals to get the appropriate assistance. See our Links page for some resources.

Q. (Can services be provided in other languages?

A. Yes. Services at IVJC can be provided in English and Spanish.

Q. (How much does it cost?

A. This is a free service to those who qualify, otherwise it is a very low-cost service. Please contact us for more information.

IVJC is able to provide this service through the generosity of the Dispute Resolution Programs of Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties and by Inland Valleys Arbritration and Mediation Services (IVAMS).

Q. (What if I am being sued?

A. These conflicts can be mediated whether or not a court action has been filed and whether or not the parties have attorneys. Any conflict can be resolved if the parties are willing to try.
