Inland Valley Justice Center-IVJC a Nonprofit Mediation /Arbitration Public Benefit provider-serving Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties

The Board of Supervisors passed a provision that states that Eight Dollars ($8.00)  of every court filing fee in Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County and in Riverside County every Five Dollars ($5.00)  shall be earmarked for an affordable mediation program (ADR) and held in a Dispute Resolution Program Act ( DRPA) Trust fund! These monies are then distributed in the form of a Grant to a public benefit, non-profit organization to provide affordable mediation services. Perhaps you and your clients are not familiar with or have not fully utilized this service.

The INLAND VALLEY JUSTICE CENTER (IVJC) is the grantee/County Contractor for your county for these DRPA funds. IVJC has experienced, qualified, and dedicated panelists/mediators/arbitrators, many of whom also serve as judge pro tems hearing MSC’s on a regular basis throughout the court system. Bios are located on our web page. IVJC has to regularly report back to the county and must achieve and maintain a level of success to retain the contract as per DRPA.

Although IVJC’s physical address is 1710A Plum Ln. Redlands, CA 92374 there are no geographical limitations as where an IVJC mediation can take place. The mediation can take occur at any mutually acceptable location at no extra charge. This includes any case you may have filed in another county.

Inland Valleys Justice Center always welcomes charitable donations. These donations help to keep our costs low and enables us to provide our services to those unable to pay.
