| Experience | Leonard Pomerantz has practiced personal injury law for more than two decades. He began his career as defense counsel for an insurance company and then became a plaintiff's attorney handling all types of personal injury and medical malpractice matters. From 1969 to 1990 he formed a law partnership with the Hon. Victor E. Chavez. He has served as a sole practitioner since then. In 1960, Mr. Pomerantz became one of the first 100 lawyers selected to serve as an arbitratorin uninsured motorist cases. He served as an arbitrator for the Los Angeles Attorneys Special Arbitration Plan and as a Settlement Officer. He was also selected to serve as a settlement officer for the Olympic Settlement Program. Since then he has participated as a Judge Pro Tern. |
